HGV Class 1 Drivers- AM & PM Shifts Available starting in East Kilbride.

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (HGV) Drivers to join a busy and well-established operation based in East Kilbride. This role offers a mix of day and night shifts, with ongoing work available and excellent rates of pay.
Pay Rates: £17.00 - £19.00ph PAYE. Weekly payday, each Friday.
Shift Patterns:
- Day Shifts: Start times between 05:00 - 07:00
- Night Shifts: Start times between 18:00 - 22:00
- Work is busy all 7 days, flexible working available.
Role Overview:
This position involves a combination of trunking and local deliveries. Night shifts will primarily consist of trunk runs either down south or up north, while day shifts will include a mix of local deliveries and trunk work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out trunking runs to various UK locations
- Complete local deliveries where required (day shifts)
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No Major Endorsements
- Previous HGV driving experience (12 months)
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
